Low battery level may cause the following problem:

Q: BS80 cannot be turned on.

A: Before your first use, charge the battery for 3-4 hours. Make sure the scanner is fully charged before the operation.

Q: The green LED is on when BS80 is charging for the first time (Figure 1).

A: Because the BS80 is powered off by scanning the setting barcode, which saves the battery level in memory.

For example, the battery level is greater than 90%, when the device is left in the warehouse for a long time and self-discharges until it cannot be turned on. The first charge will read the last stored battery level of 90% in the memory, so the green LED will light up.

Q: The second time connected the charging cable to charge BS80, the red LED turned on but could not read barcodes (Figure 2).

‌ A: The fill light chip exhibited temporary startup malfunctions due to prolonged under-voltage conditions but can restored after charging.

Q: BS80 only lights up the red aiming LED, the white illumination LED does not light up and cannot read barcodes (Figure 3).

A: The fill light chip exhibited temporary startup malfunctions due to prolonged under-voltage conditions but can restored after charging.
