HR3000-BT and HR2000-BT Troubleshooting Guide
Troubleshooting Methods:
- If it is known that the Scanner and Cradle are corresponding, the Scanner LED continues to flash, which may be because the scanner is in Bluetooth mode (BT HID or BT BLE mode) and may be connected to other hosts (computers, mobile phones, etc.).
Note:How to confirm whether the scanner and Cradle are corresponding?
eg: check if the serial numbers(7 digits) match.
SN on Scanner lable: HR2000-BT-ED00523
SN on Cradle lable: HCD2000-ED00523D
- But the customer doesn’t know which laptop or mobile phone is connected, you can clear pairing in advance.
- Then you can connect the cradle USB cable to laptop directly, Easyset can only get the cradle info.
- Check if the pairing barcode is the same as the barcode displayed in Easyset.
The pairing barcode command syntax should follow one of these two, both two are correct:
@WLSSBI+Cradle Serial Number
eg. @WLSSBIHCD2000-EA00028D
@WLSSBI+BT MAC ADDR
eg. @WLSSBIA4C138658E42
- If it is inconsistent with what is shown on Easyset, that is, the barcode label is wrong, you should copy the command syntax in Step 4 and create a new pairing barcode in Easyset and replace it, as shown in the figure.
- Then scan any of the three Dongle modes, as you must make sure the scanner in Dongle mode as shown in the figure below.
- Now you find the scanner still flashes, scan the pairing barcode under the cradle or the barcode you create.
- Then you will hear a setting successful beep sound and LED light will automatically steady on even you’re not put the scanner on cradle.
- Put the scanner on the cradle, the LED on scanner still steady on, then you can see full info of scanner & cradle in Easyset, which means the pairing successful.
