How to calibrate aiming for the Acuscan function of HR42 after firmware update
It is recommended that users do the aiming calibration procedures after the HR42 firmware upgrade, otherwise it may affect the Acuscan function user experience.
The following calibration procedures is for HR42 firmware upgraded to a version earlier than V2.01.006. If the firmware version is 2.01.006 or later, the calibration procedure is not required after the firmware upgrade.
Method - Nset
Step1:
Connect HR42 to and open Nset after firmware upgrade. It will show your current device information in the home page.
Step2:
Click Advanced Setup.
Step3:
Click Option and select Command Center.
Step4:
Put a white piece of white paper about 10cm in front HR42, and keep HR42 as horizontal as possible.
Input aiming calibration command ACDAUT in the command bar.
Step5:
Click Send.
Step6:
Wait for calibration to complete and return to the command.
After sending command, the scanner will start to calculate the calibtation value and save it. The correct response is as follows: ACDAUTxxxWyyyH<ACK>
